...federal Conservative MP Scott Reid and provincial Tory MPP Randy Hillier, plan to reveal the details of their proposed constitutional amendment today at Queen's Park in Toronto. Essentially, they want to introduce private members' bills in their respective legislatures that would, if passed, insert property rights into the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
"This is a very unique amendment," Hillier said Wednesday. "It would provide substantive protection for everybody who owns property."
Reid echoed the sentiment: "This is way of correcting a very serious wrong."(link)
