Then a democrat suggests that Al Gore is a "prophet."
Then Al Gore makes comments like these:
"I fully understand that Kyoto, as a brand if you will, has been demonized..."Ok the "moral imagination" part is pretty standard fluff from a man with a liberal relativistic mind. But for him to use the word "demonized" and for people to start saying that he's a "prophet?"
"Our world faces a true planetary emergency. I know the phrase sounds shrill, and I know it's a challenge to the moral imagination."
It's hard not to see a religious dimension here, particularly since these people seem to be inviting it on.
Haha, you've heard what else they call Gore right? The "Goracle"...
ReplyDeleteReligiosity aside, what is your view of the climate change thing?
ReplyDeletePersonally I believe it's either overblown or it's non-existent.
ReplyDeleteI have that opinion for two reasons:
-Global temperatures have lowered from 1945 to 1975 when CO2 emissions increased exponentially. No one can explain this.
-Global temperatures have been significantly higher than they are today during a period of time called the "medieval warm" period. The earth didn't flood.
Canada didn't turn into the Bahamas either.
