What's really funny about this is that throughout this whole SSM debate Paul Martin can't seem to make up his mind.
Originally he wanted to recognize civil unions. He wasn't specific as to whether the government would only recognize civil unions from now on and leave the recognition and definition of marriage to religious institutions, or to maintain the current definition of marriage but to recognize same sex marriages as civil unions. Either way he made it clear that he favours the civil unions approach.
When he got elected he changed his mind. Mr. Dithers decided that this was a charter issue after all.
He's repeated the perfomance on BMD, and military spending.
What's next Paul?
