DART Fails

I never expected DART to fail.

I wonder though the reason for the fault. I guess human Astronauts pilots are needed afterall...


  1. Of course, the Russians have been doing automated docking for decades...

  2. I know that's what makes this a little strange. I was reading somewhere that it might have been some sort of fuel error.

    What does that mean? That if the fuel level in DART was not operating in a certain range the probe was to terminate the orbit right away?
